On February 12, 2025, the Citrus County Tax Collector’s Office announced that their recent fundraising partnership with the Aaron A. Weaver Chapter 776 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart had raised a total of $10,107.20. This contribution brings the total amount raised by the office to over $300,000!
The funds will benefit the Citrus County Veterans Foundation (CCVF), which provides urgent financial assistance grants to local honorably discharged veterans and their surviving spouses.
