As of July 31. 2024, according to new Florida legislation (FL Statue 322.14(1)(a)), all credentials will now be issued with at least four randomly generated numbers inserted in your credential’s number. Residents replacing or renewing an ID card or driver license will begin to see this new number configuration in their credentials. If you replace or renew your credential, you should update your new number with businesses, medical offices, and organizations that use that number for verification purposes.
